We were rank. At least you couldn't blame Potts today. Saved us twice in the first half as the defence performed the usual car crash. Hung out to dry by the worst rovers defence ever with the exception of reidy. If only we had another three of him.

Sorry, that is just not the case. Defence was absolutely fine. We just had no midfield and nothing up front. You cannot blame the defence for a team which had not one single shot at goal.

Perry who had a very solid game was moved up front to try and win the game. They kept two up and we all know the rest. Gutted

Jeez! The defence was as far away from fine as you could get! They bumped into one another, left the ball for one another, got in a kerfuffle with the keeper, missed chances to clear long balls........ And that was just the first 15 minutes ffs!

Yeah well, that's my opinion so there you go. The team had NOT ONE SHOT AT GOAL. (Yeah, that must be the defence's fault) Pish no matter what anyway. Totally garbage day all round.

If that group of players is all our budget stretches to then I want to get relegated and the sooner the better. Being in a league where we MIGHT be able to compete now and again will be a relief. Its become embarrassing now, and I wouldn't want to put myself through another year of this.

What gets me is what happened to the optimism I had before the league season started? I remember the QoS game at the end of July where we looked like a really decent side. Trouts scored a cracker and we matched QoS all over the pitch. Okay we lost on penalties but we were probably just the better side. By and large it's the same group of players. We've definitely suffered from not having secured a decent replacement keeper when Bowman left. I'm scunnered with it all but I'll be at the last 3 games and next year's season ticket will be getting bought - whatever league we end up in.

You only need to look at Cowdenbeath trying to stave off league relegation after disappearing through the L1 trap door. Although relegation looks likely we still live in hope. The club will suffer financially with the loss of the two Airdrie games alone. If you want to go back to the £50 a week players you maybe disappointed at what you see.

Indeed. Agreed. And on we go to Airdrie. Teams do get relegated; and they do get over it. Such is life as a Rovers'supporter. If we wanted to win every week we would watch 'Sellik' but we don't. Rovers did not get anywhere near promotion between 1949-1989. Just saying 'n' that.

Naw. We all know it has been pish; no way we can say anything else. All are gutted; we are not DELUDED in the slightest, as some might say, just very, very disappointed. But we are Rovers'followers, so that's what we get. Not glory hunting 'Sellik' or 'Raingurs' but Rovers.

Ah, hadn't appreciated that Prof - being a part time supporter n'that. Good omen then.......if we avoid last place.
Tell you what, if we do reach the play offs I'd bump Kerr and Malcolm and let whoever is the leader amongst the senior players take the play off games. My bet is that would motivate the players more and maybe give them a wee boost.

Like I said earlier, the 'senior players' were either injured, suspended or transferred to Sunderland. No-one can question your logic though. Even I have realised that we are stuffed ad far as this season goes. Won't change my Saturday habits though: not possible now!!!
