Probably the worst Albion Rovers performance ever. That's what happens when the video from hell showing the slating the team by the manager for all to see is aired!! Never hang your dirty washing out in public. The new directors have some big decisions to make. Soon!

Agree, Peter, I managed in industry for years and that was the cardinal rule - no bollockings in public - even worse when its a team game and your opponents can see the shit you are in. Crazy allowing that film to be made.

First decision is who will be the new manager and fast. Kerr should have gone long ago. Then we rebuild. Let's face it. How many if that lot would you keep? Reidy, fish, Davidson, trouten and maybe McMullen. The rest are dross.

Most of whom were in the stand, suspended or injured.

It's ok saying get rid of the manager, but who will replace him. I think he has been extremely unlucky with injuries and suspensions this season , that along with our small budget i am not sure anyone could have done much better this season. Also it's not over yet

I'm not quite sure about the motives behind the post but to expect new Directors to waltz in the door and work miracles is unrealistic. If you think the manager's head should roll then just say it. The likelihood is whoever is appointed the new Chairman will decide if the manager stays or goes. As for the fly on the wall film it was a minor PR disaster at worst especially the part about admitting there was no numbers for the home shirts this just opens the club to ridicule. But the film is not the reason we find ourselves in this position- the bottom line is we gambled with a rookie manager, who recruited badly ( albeit on a vastly reduced playing budget) , who failed to motivate the players we had and didnt act quickly enough to change personnel at the centre half positions.

We probably need to learn from Stenhousemuir , who despite going down seemed to recruit well. Look also at the revelation that is Montrose. Division 2 would be even more difficult to adjust to if we threw in just under 20s and a few frees - we need to splash cash wisely and effectively and a formation that gels.

Spot on bucky. Appointing a rookie manager was a gamble. Recruiting from the lower leagues and hoping for a miracle with a few experienced people, some 'well kent' faces from previous seasons and some youths was also a gamble. It was clear from early on that it wasn't working. The manager was slow to act and now doesn't look like he has a clue what he's doing. The reduced budget is definitely a factor. So even if he wanted to change personnel he maybe wasn't able to. All in all it's been pretty disastrous. And it was like that way before the video.
