The club would like to point out that we checked the situation regarding the manager with the SFA prior to confirming John Brogan's appointment and there is no barrier to John taking up the post of manager. John will be undertaking any required updates to his coaching certificates in due course and in a timescale agreed with the SFA. John is a very experienced manager and coach who is looking forward to getting started to putting a squad together for next season. Ronnie Thank you for killing the `fake news` Mr Chairman !!

As another poster referred too we have had three rookies before, I’m happy we have a good experienced manager in. Hope he can get a few gems from the juniors.
As for the story in the Sun...what a nonsense. Rovers wouldn’t get a couple of lines usually unless it’s crap like this. Wee clubs like ourselves should be played up rather than them trying to discredit us to take up space in a paper. Glad to hear all going well and looking forward to seeing the players that will also come in.
Also any news of a new Strip?

But someone 'in the know' fed the media this utter garbage; would be very interesting to find out who and why.

A wee retraction by the paper justified.

A wee retraction by the paper justified. The Sun print a retraction.........never going to happen.... I know its a long shot but if thet don't theyll be feeling the brunt of a sharply worded letter from me, joined up hand writing, the lot. That will shake them up.
