Really disappointing day turned into totally depressing and that was after the Dingwall result and then the Tangerines let the other team win in 90 plus minutes. And then I have to suffer our sub standard performance. I knew it didn't bode well when the chairman printed the teams landscape instead of portrait 😂 We had two sublime crosses into the 6 Yard box on at least 3 occasions in the 1st half with Noone to finish it off. Why was Kyle on the bench. He should've started and maybe these chances would've been converted. Anyway, only 5 points between 5 teams so all to play for. Keep believing. Oh, and let the youngsters enjoy themselves behind the goals. They bought the flags from previous group (and don't really understand about the ban on the flags) and are youngsters that we need for future fans. Let kids be kids. Other fans bring drums in so why not the young Rovers fans.

An absolute disaster of a day. Rovers were terrible: no other way to put it. By far the worst ever refereeing performance I have ever seen; but that is no excuse for our loss to a dire and thuggish Cowdenbeath XI. One of my worst ever days at Cliftonhill. Oh my word. Help!!

Rubbish ref, toothless performance and it was freezing. Highlight was the full time whistle.

Yeah, one of those games where you look at your watch expecting 15-20 mins later than it actually is. Tough watch, particularly the first half, not sure either deserved to win. Really felt like a day for a few long range speculative digs with that wind but none, didn't really feel like we had anything by way of tactics. Be keen to see highlights for pen, looked like nothing at the time but might be proved wrong. Surprised it went as long as it did before someone was sent off the way the yellows were being dished out in the first half hour. Well I think today probably clears up what our target is this season.....here we go again.

Sorry got my Kyle Docherty and Declan Byrne mixed up. Easy mistake. They are both too good to sit on a bench at any time. IMHO.

The group as a whole were banned but you can't tar all of them with the racist brush because of one idiot. However they were banned because of numerous incidents and as a whole they did nothing to assist the investigation. Nothing to stop them coming as individuals but to see them behind the goal with the ultras flag rather defeated the point of the ban and was surprised that at least wasn't dealt with. As for them being the future I'm not convinced that is the future fans we want but as we're heading for lowland league oblivion not sure it'll matter much.

Time for a steady nerve now not point scoring amongst the fans.
If I'm honest I would have settled for 2nd bottom position before the season started as for me survival is all it can be about at Rovers now until our luck eventually runs out.
It's tinged with disappointment as I do feel we have the players to be higher up the league.
Cowdenbeath are a real threat now and they should always have been seen as that.
February is a pivotal months. We need points on the board pronto.

Cowdenbeath were utterly dreadful, but it just shows how bad Rovers were yesterday that we lost to them. Utter disaster: we could be bottom and adrift by the end of February. So frustrating, given some of the good, battling performances we have seen earlier in the season. FFS!!
PS I have now lost count of the number of penalties awarded against us which no-one has even claimed for...

In the cold light of day - we are still 6 points ahead of them and the first aim of this season was to avoid relegation. We have only one win in 7 games so we need to buck up our ideas in what is going to be a very tough February where all our games are away. I thought Callum Wilson was quite poor yesterday even though he got MoTM - him and Charlie Reilly would have had zero complaints if they both got hooked at H/T Our better players are coming back from injury which is good and there may still be scope for a couple of loan deals (preferably experienced players). I think the players will need to show a heck of a lot character for us to improve our situation.

So let's get a few things straight to begin with; 1. Embarrassing referee performance. 2.high winds. 3) quagmire pitch. 4) plucky and mediocre Cowdenbeath team. For the first time in a long time I left early today. The Rovers were never going to score. I just can't work out what are the team tactics on this Rovers side. They have some excellent ball players, Wilson, Leslie, Riley and Cam Wilson who probably hated yesterday's conditions but when they are without their best forward player the team becomes clueless. Our captain is a great leader but I'm sad to say it a lot of his teammates go missing when the going gets tough. I really do believe that on better playing surfaces they could perform better. But something is definitely missing and I lay the blame with the coaching staff and team selection. I think we'll survive but we could do so much better with a wee bit more guile and game management. But I still live in hope.

My only thoughts.
The referee was unacceptable. Ruined the game for everyone throughout.
We were terrible. The full first half we didn't look like we were up for it. The game was always going to be a battle and we were second best against a truly rubbish team.
Need to be up for a fight now or the lowland league awaits.
