On leaving at the end of the game was speaking to a Cowden fan who -despite winning - still thinks his team will be in the lower league next season. He also thought that we may be in the same boat soon ! The pyramid system makes this increasingly uncomfortable given the fact that the 'ambitious' clubs in the Highlands/Lowlands seem to have the money behind them to not only compete in Division 2 but to scoot through it with ease ! They are also able to attract the type of player that is often beyond ourselves/Cowden etc to compete with. The last 2/3 years of division 2 has been non competitive at the top as money talks big style! The serious competition is at the bottom which is a worrying trend for clubs like ourselves.

Not helped by a series of lousy managerial appointments.

Saturday was a poor result. It is not the end of the world. Calm down, Jimbo.
Squad looks good, will get better as injuries clear, and individuals get back to full fitness.
We have three away games in February, OMG, it's the end of the world as we know it!
Three away games, all in a row, give us a break, do we not have to play somewhere?
The counter balance is that at some point we will get a lot of matches at home!
Problem solved, surely.
Onwards and upwards!

Just calling it on what I'm watching. Not just the result but the lack of tactics and performance. The manager is getting nothing out of a decent bunch of players. If we can't beat cowdenbeath I can't see us taking anything from better teams. Yesterday was a must win. We are awful. And it's not just one game it's most weeks.

Really disappointing day turned into totally depressing and that was after the Dingwall result and then the Tangerines let the other team win in 90 plus minutes. And then I have to suffer our sub standard performance. I knew it didn't bode well when the chairman printed the teams landscape instead of portrait 😂 We had two sublime crosses into the 6 Yard box on at least 3 occasions in the 1st half with Noone to finish it off. Why was Kyle on the bench. He should've started and maybe these chances would've been converted. Anyway, only 5 points between 5 teams so all to play for. Keep believing. Oh, and let the youngsters enjoy themselves behind the goals. They bought the flags from previous group (and don't really understand about the ban on the flags) and are youngsters that we need for future fans. Let kids be kids. Other fans bring drums in so why not the young Rovers fans. Peter Doc is literally just back from a broken foot, that is why he was on the bench. Jaydee - what was the penalty for ? cheers.

The penalty was given for Bobby Barr blasting the ball off Charlie’s hand which the ref said was “up away from his body”. However Cowdenbeath’s captain actually had to get his wrist bandaged after blocking a shot in the box (which by the way he was much further away from than Charlie was) but when asked the linesman said to me “if you think they are the same then we have a big problem” apparently answering “yeah the ref” wasn’t the answer he was looking for 🤷🏽♂️
