Supporters Direct Scotland are willing to be involved and advise on this, with the proviso that the request comes through the Albion Rovers Supporters Trust, as the group are already members of SDS.
SDS are in contact with all other fan owned clubs in the country.

It has been very encouraging to see the positive reponse of so many fans to Ronnie's proposal to investigate the possibility of fan ownership of the club. As a former director I have grave concerns, with regard to the intentions of Mr Reilly and the small group of former directors who support him.
There are many examples of clubs in Scotland who are thriving under this type of structure.
I feel we must now seize the opportunity to move in this direction, if we are to secure the future of Albion Rovers in Coatbridge.
,
Your comment `As a former Director` ...why hide behind a nomme de plume.....Robert Watt has never hidden his identity and takes personal flak because of that....but you do...
Ā Your comment `AsĀ a former Director` ...why hide behind a nomme de plume.....Robert Watt has never hidden his identity and takes personal flak because of that....but you do...
Doesn't change the fact that everything he says is what the majority of fans are thinking. Don't know how you could go down the fan ownership road though without someone buying the shares of the major shareholders first and can't see that happening.

Let`s be clear Robert Watt has NOT sold his shares to PR...just agreed to do so and for this he has been the subject of much vitriol from posters on this board. As you will know, Ronnie any sale or transfers of shares between individuals has got to be approved by the BOD as per the Articles of Association paragraphs 20, 21 and 22. I am not aware that the BOD has even been approached to consider this sale / transfer. By entering into an ` Offer to Treat` relationship with PR he has solicited much more information about about PR`s plans than was previously known, be they right or be they wrong. Robert has been up front...but `Drummyboy` refers to a `small group of former Directors`...but fails to reveal his or their identities...that was the point I was making.

With Paul Reilly now having one foot in the door with obtaining shares and with and the chairman stepping down, the fear I have is he now will look apon this as an opportunity-(a bit like a wounded animal) The fan ownership (and I wouldnāt know where the starting point is with this) but this needs to move at a quick pace before all is to late Count me in also -

So now we know itās Watt who has been pulling your strings for months. How do you reconcile your contacts with Watt with his dealing with Reilly, someone you previously called āscumā? If such vitriol towards Reilly is deserved (and it is), why not Watt for considering selling (out) to Reilly? And youāve misunderstood - Drummyboy was clearly referring to Watt and Frank Meade. I agree with you that Drummyboy should reveal his/her identity as it would add weight to their words. Iām glad to see youāve changed your mind on this subject as you previously defended postersā āright to anonymityā - just the latest Grant flip-flop. You change your mind so often itās impossible to know where you stand on anything.
