Same comment as last week and think I'll be using it a lot. Haven't heard a taxi for brogan chant yet but think we need a bus for the lot of them! Dreadful.

That isn't going to work. If a manager with appropriate experience had been appointed he may have been in a position to pull in a few players with the required senior background to see us through the season. Would not have expected much more - just the ability to fight for survival. Juniors are not the answer. This is a route straight out of the league and into football history.

For most of the first half we had 5 at the back. Everyone else was more or less at the back too bar the lone striker who might as well have been sitting beside me in the stand. He did have one chance just before the first Peterhead goal when some terrible defending left him 1 on 1 with the keeper but with the full back breathing down his neck. Needless to say he couldn't finish. But he's not alone. No 7 (Lewis?) had a free kick and an 'attempt', lol, at goal which weren't the best shall we say.
TBH I don't blame the guys. They are trying (in more ways than one) but just aren't up too it. And when the goals start going in you can see them all withdraw into their wee shells. Still, at least they'll be able to tell their grand weans they played in the big leagues.
The easiest 3 points Peterhead will get all season. It's completely and utterly shambolic.
Only improvement today over last season was the stadium announcer. Well done that man. The pie makers might be having a word................ "2 pies gets you 3 days off work; 3 pies gets you the whole week". That was funny!

I would still give John and the management team 3 or 4 games as others have said to sort this out. Atmosphere at the game was flat and at times near total silence. Myself and others I noticed were smiling out of disbelief when the 4th goal went in. Hallford is overweight, slow at kick outs and diving and spilled the ball more than once with shots that weren't that powerful. Even noticed at the kick-off he practically walked to the goal when the others were in position, good thing the ref wasn't quite ready to blow his whistle. We are going to end up like Brechin last season in the league (0 wins and 4 draws) if this keeps up. I am still hoping that improvements and team performance will get better. Surely it can't get even worse I say with fingers crossed.

Grant - you're right about the trapdoor being the big difference this time around. We're stuck with these duds for the season unless they get p1ssed off at getting horsed every week and decide, off their own backs, to go back to their level.
2 games in and we're already hanging on until the play offs.

Also notice that both teams today had the 4-4-2 formation, then second half peterhead change that to a 4-3-1-2, and it worked when they scored 3 goals in second half, so the manager needs to do the same with a different formation to see if this will work and make the team abit more stronger the now until we get an experience player/ players in to help out.

We started better than last week but............. 6 competitive matches, 6 losses. 20 goals conceded and none scored, it doesn't get any worse than that! I don't know what we can do within our budget to improve it and don't pretend to have the answer. 23 conceeded Lets call it 21 as that's how many it was.

We appointed a manager with age but no experience. Great playing career but as manager he's been away from this level for over 25 years, even his record in the juniors is nothing to write home about. He's horribly out of his depth and it was completely predictable. In the 40 years I've been going the last few have been some of the best given promotions and cup games against old firm how have we managed to screw it up so badly, so quickly. I really do fear for the future, we're already getting a fair amount of unwelcome coverage as the only team that hasn't scored, in a very short space of time all the progress of recent years has gone and we're becoming a bit of a laughing stock.

40 years or so also and I don't want this to be the last. But can see it happening. The recent appointments to the board don't bring either funds or ideas. I fear the worst...

Marginally better than last week and still resulted in a 4-0 home defeat. It really is hard to try and have anything positive to say about this. Brogan knew the budget and took the job. Pretty much every player is his and on evidence so far with one or two exceptions they are looking beyond hopeless. They give no indication that they can do anything. It looks like we are going to need a miracle just to score a goal, and when you are conceding goals for fun even a goal would be pointless. I don't know what the answer is but for some perspective John brogan has now had more competitive games in charge than Frank De Boer at Crystal Palace last year. They made what some considered a mad move and sacked him after 5 games. Got a decent manager in and hey presto. We don't have their quality of player but we aren't playing the EPL either. The point being they seen it wasn't working and tried something else. As it stands an East Kilbride side or Highland League champion would murder that team out there. 2 games max to show improvement.

Assuming it doesn't get any better after 2 or 3 more games, the only possible way out of this is to:
1 - Ask Brogan to do the decent thing and resign because it obviously isn't working. It would have to be mutually agreed as if he was sacked the club would presumably have to pay up his contract (which is no good if there is no money left to bring in someone else). It's a shame as he is, and will always be, a playing legend. But legendary players do not necessarily make good managers. He may just have enough affection for the club to do the decent thing. 2 - Bring in a manager with experience - same wages as Brogan but a bonus to be paid if he keep us up. Anyone who has ever managed League 2 or higher will do. 3 - There are ways and means of moving players on without a cost to the club - an experienced manager will know all the dark arts of this. Three of four replacements may be enough to make a difference.
Of course, any of these 3 stages could go wrong, but it's all going wrong at the moment and at least we will have tried to change course while it isn't too late.
