5 league games. Has used 24 different players, 23 of whom have started 1 or more matches. 6 have started 3, 4 have started 4 and there has been only 4 ever present. Lack of consistent lineup is killing the team and the manager. Only 6 who started against Q.P. started today against Berwick, albeit 1 suspension forced a change. Defence all over the place for the last half hour, when we should have tried to tighten things up at 3-2 we were still going forward gung ho. Unbelievable. Good analysis. Clearly doesn't know who his best team is - he's not the only one btw. It's not the lack of a consistent line up that's killing the team, it's the fact they just aren't good enough for this level. You could put the same team out every week and it wouldn't make a blind bit of difference. And the defence were all at sea for the entire game. Virtually every ball played into the box wasn't defended and the ball over the top for the penalty was just as bad.

the chairman should go because its obvious he appointed Brogan because he's his childhood hero and he took a nostalgia trip. We backed the decision and gave him a chance and if it worked out Brogan and Ronnie would have got due praise but it isn't working out. they both need to show some responsibility and walk now for the good of the club

Nail on the head 800. Doesn't make Ronnie a bad person. Or John for that matter.

Word on the street is that Ronnie did not appoint the current manager. The 4 person panel with the 2 of the panel members who had the football experience directors who have since come and gone. One of them played with Brogan at St Johnstone was due to take over as Chairman before having second thoughts. Apparently out of the +30 plus candidates only two were interviewed which is mind boggling . Either way true or untrue the storyline it was a bonkers appointment then as it is now.
One other thing I would add is the clubs current plight is down to mismanagement by current/previous board members ,the fans both individually and collectively have a small fraction of the blame for being very passive in all of this.
I have tried numerous times to bring to attention the financial disaster the club was heading only to be told how scandalous mischief I was making. The Supporters Trust in turn have shown that they are all too willing to jump into bed with the slightest show of a bit of ankle. The amount of times I heard " John is going to do this" and "Pat was going to do that" and "Michael was going to turn is from sleeping giant to giant". I honestly wish I had a pound for every time I heard that.

Denigrating the efforts of many folk who organise the Trust for no reward. Jesus!! BTW, do you contribute regular funds to said Trust-thought not.

Now that the dust has settled there are only 2 options for the Club.
1) Come out and publicly back JB with words to the effect that they have confidence he can turn the team around. That he is our only option and the fans have to get behind JB and the team.
2)Relieve JB of his management duties with immediate effect. Commence the search for 1st Team manager and clearly state budget (if any )new manager will have to work with. One objective for any new manager. League survival.
Have really enjoyed the recent posts about share issues, our depleted stadium, financial mismanagement, ever rotating roster of directors but EVERYTHING needs to be put to one side and a decision made on our management team before the next league fixture.
Any delays could result in the death knell for ARFC.
It seems to me that the fans, if not the board, are crystal clear that relegation to the Lowland League is the end of our Club.

Been a lot of mixed opinion on this site down the years. As it stands 8.5% of people think it’s not Brogans fault. Says it all.

Who would take the team while we look for a new manager? It's easy enough saying all this but u need to look at the bigger picture, some comments just baffle me.

So we stick with Brogan just because we would be managerless for a while! He cannot be allowed to continue destroying all hope. He has to go. Other clubs manage it and it cant be any worse.

With the two week international break there is a `window` for the BOD to take stock and make a decision....longer term (takes time to organise) there needs to be an EGM to determine the future direction of ARFC

It's not easy saying all this. The manager needs to go or he needs to stay. We need to know now which one it is.
As it is we are pointless, winless and quite possibly clueless.
This is the ideal time to make the call one way or other. Delay is not an option.

You've still not answered my question, who would take the team while we look for a manager? And who will be this saviour to take the managers job? Your quick enough to say to get brogan out but like I said there's more to it than that. Mindnumbing
