Sam said: I notice JB made an offer for anyone to attend training to see what went on and perhaps the chance to maybe ask a question of him there, can I ask did anyone take up his offer? [/quote]
I have nothing but disrespect for Brogan. His dig at fans earlier in the season was a disgrace. All we hear is lame excuses from him and he should be gone. Why would you go along to hear more bs?

I would suggest your initial official channel stance was a professional one. Coming into an independent fans forum trying to answer emotionally charge questions may not be a great idea. Admirable but risky and not seen this done before, who knows might be the way forward for the big clubs also. Not an easy job and you can see your trying to appease the fans at a difficult time. But you will be dammed if you do and if you don't! Got to agree Bingo, a very brave decision from the Chairman as he opens himself up to the fans, however I don't think any chairman is going to answer questions as to the status of the team manager on an open forum, that would be very shoddy and I would expect that the board, or any board for that matter, would do any of that stuff behind closed doors. I notice JB made an offer for anyone to attend training to see what went on and perhaps the chance to maybe ask a question of him there, can I ask did anyone take up his offer?
Hi Sam, this is a continuous thing and not just a one off offer. Training takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8-10 pm at St.Ambrose's and Saturday mornings too, can't remember what time at. So if you or others want to pop along then it's fine and ask JB questions if you like. He said he is happy for folk to come along and answer fans' points regarding the team and tactics, well that's what he said at the last Trust Meeting anyway. I haven't had a chance to go yet but am planning to do so soon I hope. Not sure if it will be BS as Jimbo said.

I would love to go up, as someone who has attended the SFA courses up to C level I am always interested in how managers structure their training etc. However its a bit of a trek to come up from here on a Tuesday or Thursday evening, maybe one day. However there are plenty of folks who post on this forum who are very critical of what's going on come a Saturday, obviously its a results based business so they are perfectly entitled to worry. If its a session that's open to anyone to watch then I would advise them to go along, have a chat with the guy face to face, see what he has to say about the struggles, not many managers would be so keen to have their methods discussed so no excuses from anyone in the area who isn't up for it. Before anyone starts I'm not a happy clapper and am as disappointed as the rest of you guys about the start to the season

As I said further up the post. Why would you? For many on the (message) board his time is up. There is nothing he could say that would change that. His comments about the fans was bang out of order. His after match analysis of games deluded. We are improving, etc, etc. We are not. We have a single point because cowdenbeath are as bad as us. They would have won if it wasn't for the loan keeper. Even they are 4 points ahead of us and they have a game in hand. He has to go before it is too late and we end up in the lowland league and face extinction. Hold your hands up, admit it isnt working and resign. Please!

Surprised at this approach from the Chairman. I would have expected an official club statement covering the current situation and the plan going forward. However in case this week's programme notes is actually based on responding to points from this forum I have one, in addition to the many valid questions already asked.
1. The 3 year deal for the stadium naming rights that was announce and signed, from what I can see, in Mid-August. What percentage of this "new money" went on the Playing budget and how much (percentage wise) has been kept back for a contingency for players in January.

Why did the club enter a team in the reserve league. Would that not have allowed us a bigger budget for the first team if we had wirhdrawn

That will need to go onto the following weeks edition. I passed Cliftonhill today and they were queuing up from ASDA to do question time, it was like Lourdes 😁😁😁
