I would love to see someone in with experience and contacts. A manager desperate to price himself (or herself). And please let's make sure the appointment is fully transparent with all directors having their say. Finally, all the best to John Brogan. He will always be a legend(from his previous time at the club). Peter Why the need for experience? That was what was promised with the Brogan appointment! Iโd rather the right man for the job regardless of age. Not someone looking for a last earner before their bus pass comes in

After thursdays meeting the board dont come out looking to good with such backing for the manger
I dont think they sounded too prepared for today. Is there a plan B in place?
Managerless with this lot for next league game will be slapstick if not.
action needed fast

You should have kept that for the microphone today; it would have got the biggest laugh of all! Cannot be unlucky in any way, shape or form.

As Jordie said in his trust meeting notes post John Brogan is a nice guy but nice guys don't win football matches. There is no way he could have come back and motivated the team after that result today. Also being 64 years old and being in a job like that would well ruin your health due to high stress levels, sod that. He has done the right thing by resigning. I do wish him well though. Some things in life are just not meant to be and this appointment ended up being one of them. I think he would have more of a chance negotiating Brexit.

The appointment has been an utter disaster and the next one needs to be better. Have respect for him for doing the right thing after the game.

Can't wait to see John's official version of this. What's the betting it's everyone's fault from the Advertiser to the fans today and the internet bampots? Everyone's fault bar his.

It'll also be interesting to see how many of the new forum members who claim to have been fans forever or even longer than that remain on here. They're bound to have their say over the next few days or so about Brogan's bad luck, how everyone was against him, etc etc etc. After that they'll be gone.

Nothing about bad luck, it'll be interesting to see who takes over. Don't u worry d7 am going nowhere.

It will be interesting. John signed this bunch and carries the can for that. Not sure anyone can get a decent enough performance out of them, they are utter mince. Today was as bad as it gets.
