I'm hearing ex ek manager Martin laughlin is interested Lauchlan - would be amazed if current board appointed him. Nothing to do with managerial ability but not sure if board can handle him.

An absolutely bonkers, bonkers appointment Brogan was - it was like an act that Alan Mackin would do to East Stirling whwn he was running them into the ground. What on earth were we thinking? Shambles! Those responsible should take stock but we seem to hide behind a 4 man committee that doesn't exist. The club is in a dire state off the pitch and I fear the damage has been done.

Absolutely the right thing that JB has left but let's all please show some respect in our comments regarding one of Rovers greatest ever players.
It was a bizarre appointment probably dreamed up one sunny afternoon at the Memories Group but let's hope that the damage done is not irreparable.
What this episode has highlighted for me is how absolutely directionless we are from the top down.
It's going to take a huge overhaul for Rovers to come out of this resembling anything like a football club.
My aim would be get the semblance of a team together that can make a fist of the play off tie.
If by some miracle we remain in the league then we need to get people on our BOD who have a vision for stabilising and taking the club forward.

After countless terrible results and performances I'd been looking at the Formantine game as the one that would eventually do for Brogan, if we lost that his position was untenable. It's a silver lining to a thoroughly embarrassing result. Out of senior game for decades, limited success in juniors, no connections or clout in senior game and oldest manager in senior game bar Dick Campbell - and come on, how much experience and how connected is DC, so no comparison. It was doomed from the start. I really don't know and perhaps we never will know what they were thinking appointing him. We need a replacement quick and we need someone that will get a reaction, I'd like someone young and ambitious, a clear contrast to Brogan might get a tune out of some of these players. Not fussed about managerial experience, maybe a first gig for an ex player, again, if it's someone with a good playing career that the players will know, they should have instant respect and more chance of getting a reaction. Remarkably, given how bad we've been we're still in touching distance in the league, the right appointment we can still turn this around.

Let's hope that all directors have an input into new appointment. 13th managerial casualty of the season in Scotland. Hope its not unlucky for ARFC 🤔 Peter McClurg The ‘good’ news is he was 14th to leave their post. For those that are superstitious.
