An absolutely bonkers, bonkers appointment Brogan was - it was like an act that Alan Mackin would do to East Stirling whwn he was running them into the ground. What on earth were we thinking? Shambles! Those responsible should take stock but we seem to hide behind a 4 man committee that doesn't exist. The club is in a dire state off the pitch and I fear the damage has been done. I appreciate we're all suffering but let's not rewrite history. The " 4 man committee" I heard included the so called football men on the BoD - L Hamilton and C Downs - who ran away almost immediately. Didn't they? Heres hoping for quality applicants and a good appointment this time.

Surely any appointment should be a full Board of Directors decision, Lorraine ?

Was L.Hamilton (not the goalie) also a footballer? For whom did he play if that is the case?

I think it would be a real eye opener for some of the forum members to know the real reasons behind the departure of Mr Downs and Hamilton respectively. For future reference ,anyone looking at defamation of a named person should really do their homework.
Mr Downs did an enormous amount of work to ensure the club was issued with its SFA operating licence, is functioning at the top of his profession and is highly thought of in the community and with governing bodies of the game? You must question any slight on Mr Hamilton who holds posts and is on many recommendation lists for senior Executive roles within Scottish Charities and Social Enterprise sectors.
Another name that tends to get stick on here personally paid for training facility lets and Kit for players, cleaned stands, washed kit and donated £2,000 to the Community TRUST.(incidentally what has happened to that ?). Also sponsored Saturday`s cup match - much needed money for the club. Also interesting to note that when he left Rovers were 3rd top of League One...no need to remind folks where we ended up.
It may have been opposing visions that resulted in their departure and the ones that post slights questioning the individual`s character either have something to fear from the truth or are misinformed?
