The Scottish Cup on Twitter have tweeted this:
π Second Round #StatAttack:
β‘οΈ @glasgowunifc are aiming to reach the Third Round for just the second time β the last was in 1879.
β‘οΈ @albionrovers are unbeaten in their last seven away Scottish Cup games against non-league sides, their last defeat coming in 1993.

According to Glasgow Uni there is no pay at the gate option for this match, they say Adult tickets are Β£10 Concessions are Β£5 Buy you tickets from the Airdrie portal below: This is 1) crazy and 2) awful that this hasn't been communicated at all by Rovers and only obliquely until now by GU (after I asked them) considering the game is just over 48 hours away! embed.futureticketing.ie/c/airdrieonians/

Another club shooting itself in the foot. Crazy stuff. As for information from the rovers about this, season ticket game numbers, etc, backsides are needing kicked. Communication is an absolute joke.

Are all the games at airdrie stadium not like this,
I don't think it's to do with either club, more to do with the venue

Clubs should always try to make it easy as possible for fans to attend matches and therefore maximising attendances. Buying a ticket online suits some but not all and there should always be an option to pay at the gate by card or cash.

Research shows that a good percentage of a football crowd make their decision to attend a game on the day of the match. Most of them just want to turn up and pay at the gate. We put these fans off at risk to the economic well-being of clubs and the game in general.

Bought mine earlier while still in work find it bizzare that you can't pay at the gate. I can remember when cash was king, sadly it's more and more a contactless world now...
