I thought the Burnley rumour was something that someone made up on the bus to an away game? 😂 The Record coming to this forum for their exclusives now? To be fair they always have, the advertiser is part of the daily record

Joe away. Best of luck to him. Hopefully he learns how to heed a ball.
Great player.

Good luck to Joe, deserves his chance. Now having full time coaching and benefiting from the facilities I hope he goes on to fulfill his potential.
Hopefully we can find someone else who can go on to show that kind of promise.

What a move for him. Good luck for the future Joe and looking forward to see how he develops and what is in store for him.

Amazing move for a superb young player. Give 100% young man and you never know the next Scotland forward line could be Bevan and Stewart !

Excuse me!
I am over here being a bit smug, I can tell you.
A brother in law worked with a Dumbarton player who told him, last season, that the talk of the division was that Joe was going to Burnley. I reported to the folk waiting for the next bus that Joe was on his way to Burnley.
I am glad that Burnley and Joe have caught up with my 'rumour'.
Good luck to Joe, he has been a joy to watch at times, one of the best, skilful young players I have seen in a Rovers jersey.
He will be a miss, rest of the squad will have to step up.

Regarding some comments on the likely fee, I don't see why a Premier League club wouldn't pay at least £50,000 for a great young talent like Joe. Hopefully there are some good add-ons that will take it well above that figure.

We were always resigned to losing him some day and this is a good move. Going to a club in the premiership and potential for first team progress. We continue to produce talent at our club and this proud tradition will always be our aim.

I think there was an extra 0 added to the actual fee received.

What a lovely articulate and thoughtful young man.
Reminds me a lot of me when I was his age *ahem*
What a credit to his parents and all at Rovers and I really wish Joe well for the future.
What a massive boost for all connected with Rovers that we can scout and nurture young players like this and give them a platform to perform.
His fondness for the Club was lovely to see.
