I’m very surprised and worried that Joe is still an Albion Rovers player hopefully we aren't turning down rumoured Bids from teams for him.
We aren’t going to gain anything by keeping him the seasons over.
Get the money now or he walks for free in the summer.

What are the rumours? Who has bid and how much?
You'd probably take the money if it's decent. We aren't going to get promoted- far from it - so let's bank the money while we can.

Wish him all the best at Burnley if that rumour is true. Deserves a shot at full time football.

I think £50k isn’t realistic. Hopefully though we have a better sell on clause than we did for Ross Stewart. That was a tragic piece of contract negotiation.

I think St Mirren sold RS to Ross County for around £20k which would be the only fee that we could have had a sell on clause to benefit from as far as I’m aware.

Guys, where has the Bevan to Burnley rumour/speculation come from? Has a club official dropped a hint, or is it just one of those chinese whispers that sweep though Cliftonhill from time to time, conjured up from who knows where? Basically, does the story have any real foundation? PS - I hope it has, for the sake of both the club (if we get a decent wedge) and young Joe, for obvious reasons.

The Dundee connection (and the Charlie Connection ? ) may behind this.

Guys I tell you what when Joe signs for Burnley and is knocking in the goals in the EPL you lot are going to owe Nanook a huge apology. He broke this story mid way through last season. Personally I always trusted him as a source.

I thought the Burnley rumour was something that someone made up on the bus to an away game? 😂 The Record coming to this forum for their exclusives now?

I suppose now that no actual journalists work for the DR they may see fan websites and even Nanook as creditable sources ?
What next Peter McClurg in the Sunday Post ?
