Sean Fagan looked all at sea in both games tbh. Stranraer looked the better team certainly from the highlights. That’s some miss by Balde in ET www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsR0oNO34toDon’t imagine the big striker will have slept much last night going over and over that miss. As the Co-commentator, ( Mr Martin said it was a howler) Speaking about the commentary, any chance we could get those two Stanraer lads on the telly to do the Scotland games at the Euros. None of the bland crap we get just now but two lads kicking and heading every ball with a passion that’s been missing since the days of Arthur Montford and Archie McPherson

Absolutely peeing myself with Brian's comments at the final whistle...Ally NcCoist, Lorraine Kelly, Whirlies Roundabout etc .. Top Drawer. Got my photo with both gents at the start. Great fellows who frequently visit Cliftonhill. True legends. To be fair Bryan was well oiled when I met him at the start of the match.

Those Highlights are amazing. Who knew Lorraine Kelly once stayed in East Kilbride ! ha ha
The Striker Balde - the worst sitters I've ever seen. Unbelievable.
Anyone any more details how bad Edinburgh City are in the mire ?

Yep cracking highlights and a passion you never get from major broadcasters. Just as a wee aside. It's far from certain that because EK won the Lowland with ease this season they will do so again next year.
A lot of that team will have joined for a) The money b) The belief they would be playing in League 2 next season.
Next season is a whole different scenario.

Kennedy and Co have signed on for next season, will expect them buying the league again

I think most the squad are all still under contract, I fully expect them to walk the league again

Noticed on FB that the Highland League have released the fixtures for season 24/25. I was looking to find when the Lowland League will do the same but couldn't find it. Does anyone know when that will happen, I guess they might wait until after what's happening about Edinburgh City on the 7th June....

I saw online someone said the SPFL fixtures would be released on 27th June. Certainly last season the Lowland League waited for these to be released so they could accommodate ground shares and released their fixtures 7 days later.

I was at the 2nd leg match tonight of Broxburn Athletic v Dalbeattie Star in the Lowland League play-off.
A tight game does not describe this match which ended Broxburn 8-1 Star (12-2 on aggregate). It didn't help that the visitors got their 'keeper red carded and Broxburn scored their 5th of the game from the resultant free-kick.
We shall have the delight of visiting Albyn Park in the LL next term. I do hope they install some seating as at present there is none except for 5 or 6 park benches on the grassy banks on 3 sides of the pitch, there is a fair sized covered shed with a dirt and railway sleeper surface and they do have an artificial pitch.
