Its going to be a tough game tomorrow, who knows what kind of Stranraer will turn up tomorrow, they have given us 2 very hard games already this season, 3 points would be a massive bonus for us, however, I think a draw tomorrow is more likely, so I'm going to say a 1-1 draw

Always a tough place to get a result however in typical confident mood I'm going to go for a solid 2-0 victory to the MIGHTY Rovers!

First trip to Stranraer for 30 odds years for me. An end to end 1-0 win for the Rovers.

Wasn't there today but losing 3-0 to the team at the bottom of the league is unforgivable.

Stranraer always a difficult place to go. Peterhead defeated which is good and all the other draws no one has got too far ahead of us

Not a good result. Two late goals made it look a particularly heavy and confidence zapping loss. Wasn't at the game so it will be interesting to hear from the troops that made the trip. Table sitting on a knife edge. 2 wins your in play offs looking comfortable but by the same account, two losses and it doesn't make good viewing at all. Every game becoming a proverbial cup final now !!!!!!

First time poster tonight and I have to say that was the worst performance for a while. Is it me or does the manager seem to have lost the plot? I'm not one for singling out players for criticism but McCann, Ferguson & Willis what do they bring to the team? While I'm on the subject of singling players out big mick, why do we persist with that stupid free kick, flicked to him at the back post. Then there's the lump up the park! Theo must be thinking WTF. We have players that can play the ball on the deck but no we persist in the punt up the park. Anyway back to the manager,we are playing bottom of the league and we are camped in our own half for most of the game, why do we sit so deep? At 1-0 down why not change the formation and try and attack? We had two strikers on the bench today granted they were young lads but Connor has proved he has pace and if we insist on the long ball at least he has pace to catch it! And what about young archibald (Paul)? He looked promising last year but don't think he's kicked a ball this season? It was exactly the same in the celtic game, yes they were always going to win but with 75mins on the clock and we still didnt gamble by throwing on a striker. Anyway on today's performance we are quickly going to find ourselves in a battle at the wrong end of the table if we don't do something fast.

Was not expecting that result. This means next week's game is hugely important- we cannot get beat

Oooooh Samsung, that's a very bold first post. Wasn't there yesterday but over the season as a whole so far I'd offer the following:
O Willis - I've covered his, ahem, contribution many a time. Nothing more to add. O McCann - hasn't had any sort of run in the team so difficult to say. But he always looks very presentable with his top tucked tightly in. And his hair is always smartly combed. A credit to his mum. O Ferguson - not seen enough to make a judgement. Doesn't usually stop me right enough. O The free kick to Mick at the back post. I love that!! It's the Rovers signature move! We have played that ball for the last 3 seasons! To be fair to Mick he wins most of the headers but we don't score many from the second ball. O Connor - definitely deserves a run out as he has looked decent in the games he's played. The difficulty there is Ross Stewart is our biggest goal threat so difficult to leave him out. O Paul Archibald - hardly seen anything of him in the last couple of years. He's had a couple of wee cameos and can't really judge on that. O The long ball - we've changed our passing game for this since probably September? I think it makes for a more interesting game to watch but we should mix it up a bit more than we do. O Sitting deep - yep we sit too deep. Gives me a heart attack at times. O The Celtic game - keeping it to 3-0 was an achievement. I'm disappointed we haven't kicked on from that. O The manager - a bit harsh I think. His resources are limited and I think he does okay with what he has. He persists with his 'favourites', but doesn't every manager in every walk of life? Not sure what panned out yesterday but if we didn't go all out looking for an equaliser in the last part of the game when it was still 1-0 then that's criminal.
Personally I think any talk of us competing for a play off place at the top of the table is laughable. We're just not good enough for that and it's been obvious for weeks. Arithmetically it's possible, but seriously? We do have just enough quality to avoid the drop but results like yesterday will give Stranraer a real lift. Plus Stenny drawing up at Brechin with 10 men will do the same for them. So we're right in the mix at the wrong end of the table. Unfortunately.
