The club has announced Season Ticket and admission prices for the 2017/18 campaign. The good news is that prices have been frozen at last season's levels. Season tickets will cost £180 for adults, £90 concessions, and £20 for under 16s. Adults coming through the turnstyles will pay £14, concessions £7, and under 16s only £2. Full details of when and where you can buy your season ticket will be announced next week. On our club's facebook and twitter accounts.

£20 for under 16's is an absolute bargain. Last year it was £35 I think? And that was cheap.

It used to be £0 when accompanied by an adult (as it should be)

Think the club should be applauded for this.

applauded? really?
I think adult prices are pretty decent but just goes to show we were paying more than we should have been past 2yrs.Huge budget cuts this season yet we are still paying for "better quality players" prices.
I will always pay the admission prices no matter what but i wouldnt exactly say im happy with them

I think the adult prices are too high. To the "fair weather" fan swithering on whether or not to go to a game, £14 looks a hell of a lot worse than £12. Tell them they have to pay an extra £2 per child and they will stay at home.

I think the prices are just a bit too high, but then again, hope everyone will have their wallets at the ready for visits to raith and airdrie

That is not the problem area. Its grabbing the fan that is 50/50 whether to go or not, and I've been there a good few times myself. Sitting in the house weighing it up; £14 for me, £4 for the kids, few pies and drinks and before you know it you know your down £30, the previous game was dire and your gonna get soaked walking into the ground. We all need to start thinking what would the swithering fan think, cause there are empty stadiums up and down the country at all levels, and a new generation of children not that bothered about going to see the football.

I disagree with this because its not the "Swithering fan" thats going to keep the club afloat, its the diehards. I fully understand its expensive for adults who have kids. I think its time the club stopped depending on dads bringing kids "the next generation" to cliftonhill,,,,its time the club started taking cliftonhill to the kids of coatbridge.

A bit harsh to suggest they 'start'. The club do try. They are not miracle workers. Kids would rather watch Sky TV or head to Parkhead or Ibrox. If they Rovers are missing a trick then so are most other clubs in the country......what is the big secret?

Im sure everyone has a few ideas on how to "try" attract more fans through the gates,,i dont think much notice is taken to whats said on here. I know the club has football camps but apart from that what to they do to attract more fans in general?

Andy28 I have been going for over forty years and have seen free tickets for schools, holiday camps, free tickets for adults if they bring a kid, pay what you want, pay what you want season tickets, reduced gate prices, free Lees macaroon bars, a bar in the ground, promotion winning teams......to name a few. Still standing amongst the same faces watching them get older at every game. What do YOU suggest mate?

If it is really inevitable that crowd numbers at Cliftonhill will flatline no matter the price, then the question is what the price should be.
And the thought process can't be: "What's the most can we get away with?" it should be: "What is a fair price?"
For me that is £12 entry, £6 concessions, free for kids.

Have you seen the youngsters at half time? they all look fed up and bored.Maybe some half time entertainment, schools vs other schools penalty shootouts or something,,could also try get an adult version maybe workplaces could compete. Maybe try having slightly better conditions starting with the toilets (which i dont imagine would cost an arm and a leg). What about some music at half time,or some music when rovers score a goal or music for the team to run out to,maybe help towards generating a better match atmosphere. Kids these days dont know who albion rovers are. They only know the superstars they see on sky sports. What about making a promotional video, introducing rovers players, showing clips of our recent games against celtic, rangers, kilmarnock, motherwell, the title win and taking it to the schools? What about giving schools tours of the stadium. Maybe all crap ideas but im sure if people came up with a few suggestions then we might get the odd good one that will get a few more bodies through the gates

The only thing we haven't tried is rounding up the good folk of Coatbridge with machine guns.
