In case anybody is thinking that I am trying to engineer a way back onto the BOD, they are very much mistaken. Frank Meade and myself have discussed this many times, usually after we have been approached by others asking whether we are interested in doing so.
The answer has always been a resounding Naw.

Stewmelrover has a good point about 'new' regular contributors to this forum. It may be due to the large number of personnel changes at the club, players and backroom staff, their family and friends. It could of course be something more sinister. Who knows? As can be seen from my moniker, I have never hidden behind a false identity, always say what I feel, as is the case with others whose identity I know, such as Grant, Chris, Bucky, to name a few. It doesn't always endear us to everybody, I'm sure. However, there is something that is more worrying at this moment in time, and that is the apparent apathy of many of the 'regulars' who have gone completely silent in recent days/weeks. Is it apathy, or are they frightened that they might offend. I posted yesterday, giving my worries and my feelings about the current situation, thinking that there might have been a reaction from the BOD (even just a phone call, as they know how to reach me), but none! A simple post to confirm that the BOD recognise the gravity of the situation, and they are doing everything in their power to resolve this crisis, would go some way to lighten the gloom for the supporters who are clearly worried for the future of the club they love. The failure to do so is absolutely scandalous. Robert Watt Spot on rab on a number of fronts. It may well be sinister - no idea. There's obviously a few new people on here as well who are clearly linked to the current set up and are always 'emphasising the positive' shall we say. No real problem with that but it's super obvious. Also agree re the apathy of some regulars. No idea why but that's their right on here. I like to think, seriously, that over the piece I am fairly balanced in what I say. It just so happens I think the current set up is bonkers and that is clearly unpopular with probably the majority on here. I've no real desire for confrontation for me and my wean at the game so I'm happy to stay behind my moniker on here - again, that's my right. I don't know the folk on the Board but I'm not sure it's realistic to expect them to come on here and more or less admit they've royally f*cked this up. We don't really need them to; it's obvious anyway! The decision making process, or lack of, in relation to this mess probably speaks volumes. If they were capable of sorting this out then I'm sure they would do. Being absolutely honest I've no idea how they sort it! The best bet seems to me to hope that the current squad get fed up of being royally horsed week in and week out and decide to return to where they came from by mutual consent. That frees up some money presumably for some proper L2 standard players to be approached.

And while I'm at it, we need more than 3 or 4 players. That is nowhere near enough.

I think the apathy is due to the really depressing situation we find ourselves in. Regular supporters for many years don't bother coming to matches now and this hits the club direct in the pocket with lost revenue. If things continue I really do fear for the financial survival of the club. Please can we have an update on future plans. After all every season ticket holder is in effect an investor in the club. Falkirk have acted quickly to sort out their dire situation. Let's do likewise if we aren't off the bottom of the league by the end of September. I will support the team through thick and thin but patience is wearing thin now. And the lack of backing publicly from the Board is very telling.

Hmmmm....wasnt going to get sucked in but cant help myself. Of the 31 new members since May 2018 only 5 can be classed as "regular posters". We know who JayDee is (unless its a double bluff) and that leaves 4. One of which is me. Im one of the New Rovers. I have posted my reasons on the board before as to why I now attend Cliftonhill. Whilst my "moniker" (brilliant word) may not be as obvious I'm sure that if your Latin isnt up to scratch then drop it into Google and with a bit of thinking and detective work, hey presto there I am. I am sure some Facebook, Linkedin and Companies House research you can easily identify me. You probably will still not know me though.
My opinions are genuine though, as are my concerns which have become more grave over the past 2 weeks. I see the need for change now as in at least 3 players of SPFL experience and quality to start chalking up some points. January, going in as we are, will be far too late imho. I am realistic enough to understand that wholesale squad changes at this late stage will not happen nor do I believe that the entire squad requires changing. Just some real experience at this level needs to be added. I'm sure that will be enough to keep us away from the trapdoor. However I may also be wrong.
Anyway I will keep posting my opinions, no matter how far off the mark they may be, and continue to support the club as a newbee as much as I can. I always remember the majority are usually in the right but I am always aware about the madness of crowds.

Not even sure what a double bluff would achieve from myself? Or why? 🤷🏽♂️

I think at this precise moment all we should be concentrating on is Saturday and getting behind the team and manager and getting a win.
Anything else at the moment is an unwelcome distraction.
I'm sure everyone connected with the Club realises the precariousness of our league position but things can change.
At the moment there are 3 teams within 3 points of us so we are not cut adrift. Yet.
Saturday is crucial. Let's put everything else to the side at the moment and concentrate on this game.
This is a young inexperienced side and need all the support they can get.

2 days to go - still time for our BOD and JB to bring in 3 or 4 SPFL experienced players

Nothing against Potts who is not as bad as some make out but we need a keeper to replace tubby. He made the Stranraer keeper of recent seasons look like a fitness fanatic!

Jeez that's a touch harsh jimbo! Halford was one of the few in the squad who didn't look out of place at this level. No idea what the 'work commitments' were but I'm sure he wasn't sorry to be leaving whilst some of his dignity remained.

`Work commitments` was a nice `spin` the club put on it after he had spat with JB following the Peterhead match
