Jeez that's a touch harsh jimbo! Halford was one of the few in the squad who didn't look out of place at this level. No idea what the 'work commitments' were but I'm sure he wasn't sorry to be leaving whilst some of his dignity remained. Just joking. On Skye under the influence of talisker. Can say that now he's no there and he can't knock me into next season! 😀

Get off the goalies back.
If it hadn't been for him it could have been 5 - 0 at halftime against Queens Park. He is a young man, very agile, good hands. He is possibly a couple of inches shorter than an ideal size for a top class keeper, but so was Andy Goram and we know what he became. The kid is very brave from what I've seen. He can be a bit rash in his decision making, but that will improve with time and experience, which he will not get sitting on the bench or in the stand.
Off course, if he gets slaughtered on here and at the games, he might do the same as the other keeper did and get out with his sanity intact.

Great Post Robert. I don't understand why fans choose to slaughter a player on a public forum. Where is it going to get them bringing a player down?

1 day to go - still time for our BOD and JB to bring in 3 or 4 SPFL experienced players. Surely they don`t want to go down as the BOD that took Rovers from the SPFL1 to the LL in two seasons

I'm with Chris, Potts isn't good enough or experienced enough at this level.................. at least yet. I don't think he's costing us 2 goals a game but if we're being honest he has been at fault.
And far from getting out with his sanity intact we shouldn't be waiting fort that. We should be protecting young players like Potts from the sh1tfest our club has become in the last 2 seasons. Potts should be learning his trade in a far more 'safe' environment. Putting him once again in the spotlight in a poorly performing team is borderline cruelty. We should be saving Potts from that, not exposing him to it. That way he'll have a fighting chance of making it.

Same thing happened when Bowman left...Kerr wanted to get another experienced `keeper - given the circumstances he could have used the emergency loan set up - chairman said `no`.

Hopefully the young goalie has more sense to come on here and read this stuff.
In our most desperate hour when we should be sticking by the players for such a crucial game on Saturday what are doing ?
Having a pop at a 19 year old goalie. Dear oh dear. He may be raw and have been thrust into 1st team action sooner than he or us would have liked but that is hardly the players fault.
He has been surrounded by a leaky defence and a non existent midfield that have all contributed to our poor form but what do we do? Pick on a goalie who at least has the guts to stay at the club whilst others manufactured their own reasons for deserting the ship.
It's a cowardly thing to do and to be honest I expect more of Rovers fans than this.
From the QP highlights I saw the scoreline would have been worse if not for him. Get behind the guy and give him a break.
