Right, the club are in the hunt for a new manager. Who would you like to see take up the post ?....let`s be realistic given the financial status of the club.

from the Advertiser...
Albion Rovers hope to recruit experienced boss as Brian Kerr exits Cliftonhill
Albion Rovers chairman hopes to appoint an experienced boss after Brian Kerr left the club.
The Airdrie and Coatbridge Advertiser understands that the board opened discussions with manager Kerr and assistant Stuart Malcolm following their relegation to League Two last week.
Another round of crunch talks took place at the start of the week where revised contracts were submitted to the duo. However, they turned down the deals.
Kerr took charge of Rovers after being promoted from his youth coaching role at Cliftonhill last summer.
Despite a positive start to the campaign, a run of three wins since September last year saw the club sent down to League Two on the final day with defeat to champions Ayr.
A statement released by the club last night stated: "Albion Rovers FC announce that Brian Kerr and Stuart Malcolm have left Cliftonhill after the club's relegation to League Two.
"After being offered a revised contract for next season Brian has now decided to pursue his career elsewhere."
Albion Rovers boss Brian Kerr reckons referee calls have cost his side 12 POINTS this season as he blasts officials in Scotland Chairman Ronnie Boyd thanked Kerr and his backroom staff for their efforts and said they would take time to make the right appointment.
“Brian and Stuart gave a lot of energy and enthusiasm, but ultimately we were relegated and have to regroup now,” said the chief.
“As a club we will sit down and look at the candidates who put themselves forward. I’m sure there will be a lot of interest in the role, as there has been on previous occasions.
“We will be looking for someone with experience of League One and League Two and who knows the resources of clubs at our level.
"Ultimately we want them take us back up to League One.”

Personally .I hate when managers pluck from thin air a fictional number of points that they say a referee has cost his side during a season.
It smacks of rank incompetence.

Club find themselves in a difficult position here in respect of timings. Need an appointment soon to rebuild and prepare but quite a few managers still in employment with their positions subject to change?? Based on budget and potential and trying to be realistic.........maybe stenny to do us a favour v peterhead......jim McIntyre perhaps.....new challenge. Outside punt.......jim Chapman. Difficult one.

Jim Duffy would be my choice - but it would be for his love of the game rather than financial incentives that would attract him and the challenge. Others include Gary Bollan or Brian Reid- John Sludden has done great at East Stirling and knows the leagues.

Gary bollan is one of the worst managers in the league. Failed at every club he's been at He got Forfar promoted to League 1 in the 2016/17 season. Apart from that he’s not done anything.

He left us in the lurch a few years ago to take up as assistant manager at Accies and was bumped very quickly by them for reasons I'll not go into.
