Sorry Chris but give the guy a break. He's improved massively this season. He isn't perfect but tries very hard. Peter I accept he tries but he's not good enough. It's not his fault. Including the u20s games last season he wasn't in goals for a single win I really don't understand when a loss became acceptable Just looked the stats for Potts last season. Played his first game on 02/12/17 and last on 07/04/18 making it into double figures 11. The young lad from Rangers joined and played from 27/01/18 through to the end of the season with a few missed due to Scotland call up but played in 13 matches. the stats are as... Potts played 11...1 win...3 Draws...7 losses. Wright played 13...2 wins...2 draws...9 losses. i would say Potts wasn”t any worse than the Rangers full time keeper and shows he did have a win.

My appolagies 1 (ONE) win A win record of 9% when potts played vs a win rate of 15% when Wright played shows he was worse This does not detract from the fact his kicking and decision making are god awful he made a big error diving at the feet of the Edinburgh striker who just knocked it passed him and won a pen Then another when he came out what 30 yards and tackled his teammate Last year I reckon on average he cost us a goal a game. Wasnt helped by tweedle Dee and tweedle dum playing in front of him but he doesn't seem to improve any. He just stays at a level which I think isn't good enough.

I have to laugh. Daniels kicking is "god awful"? Just confirms to me that your on here for a wind up. I'll leave you to it.

Bottom line is Bowman should have been replaced by an experienced keeper when he left last year it was a (too) big step up for the young keeper to make. Club would have qualified for an emergency loan given the circumstances. Same this season with Halford going.

I have literally seen every game he has ever played for the first team I feel for the guy I am not at the wind up. He is capable of making great saves as we saw at the weekend but is always prone to making big mistakes at big times in every game which was also witnessed the last 2 games. He's not helped this or last season by what at times is dreadful defending I will give him that.

Any word of a stand in goalkeeper yet. If the recent past is anything to go by the u19s `keeper will be promoted to the bench.

Out of interest where was Daniel Potts at the beginning of the season, did he do pre-season with the club? Yes he did.

Totally agree, can’t speak for last year, but working with our goalie coach and getting game time I believe Pottsy will prove his worth and have to say I can’t agree with Chris’ r.e. Daniel’s kicking. Far from “God awful” in my opinion.

As an employee of the club, I think it would be highly unprofessional for you to come out and say anything other than positive of the players or club. So really your opinions on the players Won’t be a true reflection but probably biased opinion again probably due to your position at the club. I think it’s good to see you are behind the players though. A goalie is only as good as the players in front of him and he doesn’t seem to have any sort of protection in any of the games he’s played in. All the best goalies have moments of madness and it appears Potts also has they mad moments. He’s a young guy and goalies don’t tend to mature until the later part of their career. Getting game time is probably the best thing for him rather than sitting watching on the bench.

Spot on Paul. I think if you read some of the stuff on here you could be forgiven for thinking all is actually okay at the Rovers. To be honest all this cr@p is a distraction from the real issue....................
Played 8 competitive matches. Lost all 8. Shipped 20+ goals. Scored 1 goal. If we weren't talking about the Rovers and instead some hypothetical club then I think in anyone's language we might all agree that is "God awful".

Spot on. People on here seem to accept any old sh*te. we are getting beat, we are bottom of the league BUT it’s ok as that’s what we are expecting to happen. When does it stop and people wake up and realise it’s not ok and this isn’t acceptable because we are seen as ‘just the wee rovers’.
What is the ambition of the club?
I would think the problems with money and whatever else is going wrong would push people to try and be a success of what we have? Instead it’s not there, there’s just an acceptance that all is doom and gloom and a reluctance to change things as it’s all the club/board know.
