i disagree with "no credible candidate will take the job", it's already a nothing to lose situation. Any new manager will come in and get our full backing as fans and if it's someone experienced this time with contacts then all the better, better than this junior pish anyway Spot on rover800. Fitba is full of people with big egos who just think they're the dog's bollocks and can turn anything around. It's a nothing to lose situation right enough and they'll be getting paid to do it. Being honest though, Guardiola would have a job on hs hands turning this group into a credible challenge for 9th. A clearout is required.

he can come in and qork with what we have got, release who he can in January and bring in anyone who can help keep us up including paul rover's hero Gemmell I wouldn't be against that.

Haha, someone mention big Gemmell? ๐๐
Big man scored the winner today for his current team.
Just remember though, Brogan can do what big Gemmell can do and heโs 64....

I think it's going to be difficult for anyone to come in. Brogan needs to see it out and try to keep getting the best out the players and hope it turns.

Stirling Albion must be saying thank god Albion Rovers are in our league. The battle of the basement Albion's will be interesting if not predictable !

Charles - every team in the league will be saying the same thing. Plus those who have aspirations in the Lowland and Highland leagues.

And fair play Prof. You're probably the most consistently positive supporter on here.

Could probably get guys in the stand to replace some of them. Some of them resemble sunday league pub team players.

Said before the QP game that we have 3 fixtures to try and gain some form of momentum.
We now have Berwick rangers and Clyde and I think the Clyde fixture can more or less be written off right now.
So it comes down to Berwick. A draw(goal) might buy us some time but a defeat in this one and someone has to pull the trigger.
Either JB will go or Board need to ask him to go and have a replacement on board.
For those saying who could we possibly get to take over I say let's ask and see.
Sincerely hope JB gets the win V Berwick and we have something to build on but if not we must act.
Our loyalty to managers has cost us in the past with Brian Kerr allowed to remain in charge of a team devoid of ideas and careering out of the league.
My personal view is that relegation to the Lowland League will be the end of Rovers.
We have neither the infrastructure, ground, income or fan base to come back from there.
We have a board of directors that barely take up their seat in the stand before they are off and who are slow to react when things are blatantly going wrong.
Too many directors coming in with zilch affinity for the Club and it shows.
There is always the hope that we can go grovelling to Paul Martin. Ask him to keep us in the league and then promise to never ever bother him again if he does so.

Gemmell... Martin... the second half of this season is going to be like the Blues brothers... "we're putting the old band back together..."

Think tommy was a bit `tongue in cheek` with that last comment. Even if we get a `result` against a poor Berwick side, will it be a turning point in our season ? I think not. The BOD got the management position / signing policy all wrong...think nigh on 100% of our supporters would have said all along it would all end in tears. Who would come in and run the team ?...I cannot think of anybody - and could they be expected to get anything better out of the current squad ? Probably not! Tommy said - and I quote - `My personal view is that relegation to the Lowland League will be the end of Rovers. We have neither the infrastructure, ground, income or fan base to come back from there.` I agree, but every week that passes with (apparently) no action being taken takes us one week closer to oblivion.
