Guaranteed the new manager will be another junior gaffer, I'll be surprised if anyone other than that will take the position.

I reckon loads of folk will be interested in trying mission impossible until the end of the season. It's a no lose situation really. The fans are at rock bottom as are expectations. Finish 9th and your a hero and back in the window again. I'd take a former player looking for a first chance also, so long as its someone with some decent contacts in the senior game rather than contacts within the 3rd tier of the juniors. Either way its an improvement.

Only one choice for me....Martin Lauchlan...young,experienced ex-pro...done a great job at EK...I herd he has been at a few games watching as well...totally disagree with posts slating ALL our players...think that's a bit uncalled for....they just need direction

Whatever your opinions of the current squad, they require support. We have fixtures to fulfill. The manager has gone; crucial that we all support the team.

I'm really sorry Peter but you need a serious reality check. You're at virtually all of the games and see the same gormless, clueless performances week in and week out that the rest of us do. Outside of Fish, the keeper and Wharton; maybe Fagan too (it's early days) the rest just aren't up to it.
As for direction stew, the only direction they need pointed in is the door. They'll get my support - I'm not one for shouting the odds at the players cos I don't think it makes a blind bit of difference, and frankly I find it all a bit embarrassing. But I'm pretty sure it's Chris and his mates who stand behind the tunnel (apologies if not) and I reckon it was their reaction on Saturday that made up Brogan's mind for him.
Blind faith and loyalty are laudable up to a point but we need a clear out. That has to be the remit of whoever comes in btw. Clear out the vast majority by 'persuading' them to leave and then free up those wages for some fresh blood. And talent.

Nothing to do with'blind faith'. Our job is to try and encourage them to win. We have no choice whatsoever at the moment. (And I didn't mention 'direction'). So we either try to get through this crucial period or just shout at the players and tell them they are 'shite' for the whole match? Telling players they are a 'f-----g' disgrace every two minutes does absolutely no-one any good.

Think there is validity to both stewmelrover's post and d7's posts. Would be doing no one any favours now to be giving the boys grief on a saturday whilst in the shirt. They are here now and for a wee while anyway so we may as well try and get something from them. However I am inclined to agree with d7 when he points out that so far and based on 15 competitive games, most of them look miles and miles out their depth. The fact that none of them could respond with anything after that half time walk down the tunnel on Saturday says to me they just don't have anything to offer. You never know though and I'll be happy to be proved wrong.

Fair enough; and absolutely no-one is either deluded or 'happy' about anything. (I am bloody sick of reading that). But we MUST support the team; no choice for any of us while we have a team in the league.

I agree dm, itâs not just a wee bit out their depth it is miles.
I also agree stew that shouting abuse isnât right. At the same time shouting âhappy thoughtsâ isnât going to turn players who canât master the basics into better players.
Thereâs a reason why these guys were playing at the level they were. Iâm genuinely sorry to say it but weâve tried this approach, it hasnât worked and we need a clear out.
