Agree. So easy to fix by just increasing top league by two. No relegation and promotion of top team and maybe second place to even out the numbers. Simples for everyone except the blazers!

Can't keep everyone happy although reconstruction could help. Have Dundee decided what we're doing yet? 🙄

How could you allow a team in the league when their own league aren't promoting anyone into theirs

But the lowland league are refusing to allow promotion into lowland league why allow them in and give ourselves less prize money

Fair point but increasing the league sizes is much needed. You could merge leagues but more teams is a better way with a more balanced distribution of the prize money. Of course that will never happen as self interest comes first. In fact self interest would be the driving force for the rovers in not allowing anyone up but one would have been coming up at the expense of brechin anyway. If we were currently bottom think we may have a different view. Again self interest. We need clarity and none is forthcoming amongst the usual skullduggery. This season is dead it's how they finish it. I wait with baited breath for the decision which will probably be the worst fudge possible

Scotland has been crying out for change for years, now is the time. The higher up the league you finish the better the money so lets finish higher up the league.

You have the same money to divvy up 44 ways rather than 42
How has it needed change? What's been wrong with it?

If the sum were a million quid then the difference would be around a grand,(purely an example). It needs changed as it's stale and from recent votes a laughing stock. Why should ambitious, forward thinking clubs be held back by the old guard. New teams, new challanges, most people rise to them. We and Scottish football, should not fear it but embrace it.

We already have change with the bottom league trap door. There is an opportunity to increase the league sizes at a time when it can be done with the added benefit of not relegating teams in an unfinished season. That includes promotion from the highland and lowland leagues. Although these leagues have been ended if there is promotion from them it opens up the possibility of promotion to them to restore the number of clubs in them. With regards to the money being split between more clubs, the solution is simple reduce the prize money at the top of the top league to compensate. The big boys can afford it and get more than enough and the bottom needs it more.
