Dundee United v Stirling Uni. Gutting!! If it had been us in the draw we would have been a much lower number than SU so would have drawn someone else. No doubt someone will make a daft point about us getting called a Lowland League side!

Dundee United v Stirling Uni. Gutting!! A good draw for them. Not saying we would have had the same draw but the point still stands that we have missed out financially.

Probably v Falkirk as we would have been ball 2 instead of Alloa

Probably v Falkirk as we would have been ball 2 instead of Alloa It would have most likely been Elgin as everyone would have shifted down 1 position

The Stranraer v Annan went for us a bit, draw keeps them both handy.
We would have been no 2, Aberdeen above us, all other teams would have been plus one. University of Stirling were no 32.
Well, we can concentrate on the league now, that's what we used to say in the Fagan days when we knew fine that there was no hope in the league no matter how high we were at the time. And with playoffs at both ends of the league we do have to concentrate. January, a centre forward has to come in. The games I have seen, other than Forfar at Cliftonhill, we were the better side but were not getting the wins, and that would seem to be the concensus on the message board for most of the other matches other than Saturday. I see no reason why Rovers should not be in the play offs end of season. At top end!
Very disappointing going out to a Lowland League side, could have been worse FC Edinburgh losing to Drumchapel, really pleased for Edinburgh.

Saturday’s result was a huge disappointment and there’s no getting away from just how important progression in the Scottish Cup is for the club.
Credit to Stirling Uni for their performance. They were tenacious, hungry, and fought for every single ball.
Our focus is now, solely, on the league. Our position doesn’t merit our performances - in my opinion we should be (at least) 9 points better off. Confident we can start to climb the table.

Well done to Stirling University on reaching the fourth round for the first time in their history. A football and financial blow for the Rovers however. Our focus now is entirely on the league: today’s draw between Stranraer and Annan was good for us. Ronnie
