Rovers dominated the entire match. Rovers didn't score. Dumbarton had one shot and they scored. Unless this is sorted, we are relegated. Dumbarton number 7 is a disgusting cheat. Kick trash like that out of football. Appalling.

Maybe Rovers should just kick everyone up and down the pitch and throw a dive when there is no-one near them. Seems to win games for lumpy, cynical teams like Dumbarton.
Cricket season soon please.

Same old story. Dominate the match and lose. Time for change. Before it's too late. Really like Brian Reid but, it's a results business and we are heading back to playing Cowdenbeath, East Stirling and Berwick at an alarming rate.
Oh, and Happy New Year 😁

Again, it ain't the manager's fault that we didn't score: the team played well, but did not put the ball in the net. Yes, something needs to change urgently, but that something is to get a goal scorer. The frustrating thing was watching Rovers lose to a crap, cynical bunch of hackers who are somehow top of the league. Arghhhhhhh!!!!!

Same old story. Dominate the game and created a lot of half chances to be fair, but players are guilty of not doing their jobs properly. Bad mistake by Jamie Leslie giving the ball away in midfield, big Sonkur swings and misses the chance to clear 1-0 Sons. Relegation beckons unless we do something drastic.

Same old hard luck story today - we dominated the game but lacked that bit of quality to hammer home this dominance - too many overhit passes when through on goal and no one capable of drawing defenders away when team mates go forward - and punished for mistakes . This has to be the poorest league leaders in many a season in this league and the amount of rolling about they done was a disgrace. When all around are starting to win games we cannot allow any further slippages - I fear any head to head with a Brechin City at the end of the season !

The manager has had half of a season to get a striker in. He picks the team. Hopefully has tactics. Has to kick backsides when needed. Make changes when needed. Failed on all accounts. Time to go. And if Charlie Reilly goes in January, good riddance. Talented, yes but also a huffy, lazy big head. Don't know how much more of this guff I'm prepared to pay for. Dismal.

Beginning to look a lot like Rovers are going to be the only team in history relegated because they had bad luck for the entire season.
18 league goals tells a more realistic story.
If a decision has to be made regarding the manager it has to be now. It can't be allowed to drag on much longer as this is death by a thousand cuts and we risk sleepwalking all the way to the Lowland League.
If he wants more time to turn it around then 6 points out of the next available 9 and if not he has to walk away.
Personally the 2nd half collapse at Annan was my breaking point.

As agreed above we dominated much of the game against the League leaders however our eternal problem is we cannot score!
Hopefully the manager will sort that problem this coming month.
Onwards to another very big game at Bonnyrigg next week.
Happy New Year all when it comes around!

It was being said on this forum right from the start of the season that our inability to finish teams due to a proven goalscorer would come back to haunt us in the New Year. Well I hate to say 'I told you so' but here we are. The manager and board were well aware of this but did nothing. I reckon if we lose to Bonyrigg then it's going to be very difficult to avoid the inevitable. This isn't a bad team of players as performances have shown but I'm beginning to doubt the present management is capable of getting us out of this pattern of playing well but losing, the table doesn't lie. For the good of Coatbridge and having a league team to support something needs to change.

Disappointing result thought we deserved at least a point some huge games coming up say that every week . If there’s a club that knows their way out of this it’s ourselves been in this position plenty of times and we know our way out of it . I personally disagree with people’s opinion on the manager as I feel he’s earned the time and any new manager would want to bring their own players in and that would be very expensive to do so

As a Rovers sympathiser, rather than fan, I thought the better team by far lost. Echoing other comments, you really need a striker. Last game I was at Scott Roberts, a winger, was up front. Today it was young Dolan and he was OK but you clearly need a target man. Blair Malcolm was my MOTM with Callum Wilson close behind. The earlier comment on Reilly was very harsh. He is your main man, two footed but rather than lazy I would call him frustrating. His dead balls are very hit or miss. You must've had a dozen corners and the best one was the only one not taken by Reilly (C.Wilson).
Sonkur's mistake must be the only one I've seen him make in the last three home league games, I missed the cup defeat. Outstanding defending was a feature of the game and most of it was done by the team at the top of the league.
No announcement about the crowd (or the 50/50 winner) but it looked about 500 to me, even if my bit of the stand was a bit less than the Stranraer game.
A couple of very minor gripes. Today was the third time in the last four visits that the teams haven't been announced before kick off and I've generally got to my seat ten minutes before 3pm. I couldn't work out who number 22 was for Rovers as the excellent programme goes from 21 to 23. I realize now it was Luke Graham, who is listed as No.23. And the programme could maybe list some of the other players in the squad on the back page. But kudos to the guys behind it, it puts my club's pathetic effort to shame.
