I wonder what the straw poll is for an 18 game season. I’m assuming (rightly or wrongly) Rovers and Brechin would probably prefer that they call quits on the season and teams in with a shout of going up will want to keep going.
Personally football without the fans is utter crap and I would prefer we re-start afresh next season when fans can come back to the games.

Just end the season and start back in August.

Agreed. It would be a farce to try and 'complete' it. Highland league teams have hardly played at all, and we have played only 8. Start again in August. It really is garbage watching matches on a computer with no fans.

Just end the season and start back in August. Couldn't agree more, would be the most sensible approach. They’ll probably come to that conclusion after a few weeks of more delays.

Although not perfect watching the games online was one of the few highlights left in long dreary weeks. The offer to do testing has been ignored which makes me wonder why be the other leagues have been allowed to continue. Very unfair and inconsistent. Would still like to see the season finished even if it's reduced to 18 games. Many of us have paid for it after all.

Three choices: try to squeeze in the remaining games of 27 game season , go to an 18 game season or abandon season and go for starting back in August. There is also likelihood of some proposals for reconstruction being put forward. Lot for new board to consider in the coming weeks and months. Jumbo makes a good point about some fans having paid for football this season. I’m sure the club will recognise that with discounts for next season’s season tickets. Ronnie

Peterhead have now raised the issue about calling it quits and re start next season - may start a trend from other clubs- thorny issue of promotion and relegation is the fly in the ointment - it will be interesting to see how Queens Park/Falkirk/Partick Thistle view this option !!

Depending on when (if) games are allowed to go ahead, playing the 27 is do able, but would involve a lot of midweeks. If this becomes an option, I’d say it is best as it gives the guys game time. If they end up playing 18, they couldn’t justify promotion and relegation, I think.
It’s been a horrible time, hope we can get back to some kind of normality ASAP

Has the possibility of extending the season been discussed by the SPFL?
Surely that's the only way the full (already docked) season can finish!
